The Republican National Committee spent only 6 cents per voter it helped get registered during the 2016 presidential campaign in which it managed to successfully win the White House and retain control of both houses of Congress, The Daily Caller reported.
Citing a Monday news conference, the Caller said the RNC's email campaign sent out more than 2.5 billion emails intended either to register voters or raise money. The effort succeeded in getting 825,000 voters to register, costing the group only 6 cents apiece.
The email fundraising effort was also a success. It cost $1.5 million a day in the final months, according the Caller, but raked in far more than that every day.
