The Russia investigation is “made up of a bunch of distorted human beings who cried,” when Hillary Clinton lost the presidential election, and those FBI agents should be in a psychiatric ward instead of investigating President Donald Trump, lawyer Rudy Giuliani said Saturday during a campaign rally.
Giuliani, who joined President Donald Trump’s legal team in early May, was on Staten Island campaigning for Republican Rep. Donovan. After starting off his press conference with a few remarks about Donovan, Giuliani discussed Trump and the Russia probe.
"I'm very proud because he's got that spirit," Giuliani said of Trump. "My God, nothing gets him down. But what they've been doing to him is heartless, it's cruel."
His comments follow news that special counsel Robert Mueller is aiming to finish his obstruction report on Trump by the end of the summer. Mueller, who is investigating Russian involvement in the presidential election, is preparing a report about the president’s actions while in office and potential obstruction of justice.
“Imagine FBI agents and prosecutors crying when Hillary Clinton wasn’t elected. I think if I could get those pictures of them crying …” Giuliani said.
“Instead of investigating President Trump, they should go to Bellevue,” he declared, referring to the famous psychiatric ward in New York City.
The former New York City mayor then pointed to his head, smirked, and said “Wackadoodles.”
“Ahhhhh we want Hillary! What’s going to happen!” he cried. “I need a psychiatrist!”
