An environmental group is launching a $558,000 ad blitz against two Senate Republicans who voted to confirm Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt.
The League of Conservation Voters announced the campaign Wednesday to target Sens. Dean Heller of Nevada and Jeff Flake of Arizona, both of whom are up for re-election next year.
The ad campaign will feature both English and Spanish TV and radio spots.
According to The Hill, the group is one of several organizations to have advertised against Pruitt, spending $50,000 on a digital ad campaign as part of a $3 million fight at against his nomination.
Pruitt was confirmed by the Senate last Friday, with just one Republican, Maine Sen. Susan Collins opposing him.
