President Donald Trump said Democrat Joe Biden, his opponent in the race for the White House, is "on some kind of enhancement."
During an interview with Fox News Tuesday night, Trump said Biden appeared different at the Democratic Party's presidential debates during the primary season.
After saying that Biden "was horrible" in the first debates, he "was normal" in the one in which he squared off head-to-head with Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in mid-March.
"I watched Biden in the Bernie debate and he was normal. That was a different guy," Trump said.
"He's on some kind of an enhancement in my opinion."
Trump also said that he would take a drug test before his debates with Biden, the first of which is scheduled for Sept. 29.
"I want to take one. I'll take one, he'll take one," he said. "We should both take a drug test."
This week, it was theorized that Trump had suffered a mini stroke last year before making an unscheduled visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Trump denied the report.
