Doug Jones Unveils Transition Website

Senator-elect Doug Jones, D-Ala., has unveiled a transition website as he looks for staffers, AL.com is reporting.

The website shows a photo of Jones in celebration with the words: "Thank you, Alabama."

It allows people to submit a resume for a possible staff job. The website also gives people an opportunity to request a meeting with Jones and provides a link for members of the press to contact the transition team.

Jones won the race for the Senate seat by defeating Republican Roy Moore earlier this month. He is the first Democratic senator elected from Alabama in more than two decades, AL.com noted.

The Alabama Secretary of State's office said it will certify the results of the selection on Thursday, the Montgomery Advertiser said.
