While he would not get into predicting the winner of the Democratic primary in New Hampshire, Donald Trump Jr. on Newsmax TV did admit Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., has the voters' "enthusiasm" there among Democrats.
"The reality is it seems like Bernie has the enthusiasm," Trump Jr. told "Greg Kelly Reports" before Monday's campaign rally at Southern New Hampshire University. "He has sort of the Trump crowds of the left from 2016."
But Trump Jr. told Newsmax TV's Emerald Robinson it is too early to consider anyone a leader among Democrats.
"Now at this time in 2016," Trump Jr. said, "they still said 'Donald Trump has 0% chance of winning,' so I don't want to make predictions."
Trump Jr. did say President Trump is going to be much stronger in New Hampshire than he was in 2016 because he "delivered" on promises.
"In 2016, my father was a politician like everyone else: make promises that no one expects him to actually be able to deliver on," Trump Jr. said. "Now, he's actually done that.
"Checklist item after checklist item has been accomplished," he added. "I think the people of New Hampshire are common sense people. They get it. They see what he's done, and they're going to vote for him."
