Trump Continues to Press for Ohr to Be Fired From 'Justice' Dept.

By    |   Monday, 20 August 2018 11:50 AM EDT

President Donald Trump on Monday continued his onslaught against Bruce Ohr, pressing his case for the official to be fired from "Jeff Sessions 'Justice' Department."

Trump also quoted Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who took the case against Ohr to Fox News' "America's Newsroom."

"Clearly (Ohr) had a conflict of interest he didn't disclose and that's probably the first question that'll be asked behind closed doors in the deposition" of Ohr, Issa said on Fox News.

Ohr has been in the crosshairs of Trump again for his role as point person for former British spy Christopher Steele, whose "dirty and discredited dossier" continues to rankle the president.

Trump late last week called Ohr a "disgrace" and has suggested that he, too, might lose his security clearance.
