President Donald Trump blamed the ongoing investigation into Russian election interference on "13 Angry Democrats," and complaining that his preparations for the G7 and for meeting with North Korea are going unnoticed.
For the next two days, Trump will be in Charlevoix, Canada for the G7 summit hosted by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. They will be joined by the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and Japan, several countries that Trump has hit with tariffs on steel and aluminum.
Trump will then travel to Singapore to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on June 12 to discuss denuclearization.
All of this comes just days after Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading the investigation into Russian interference and possible connections with the Trump campaign, accused the president’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, of witness tampering.
