Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, who is offering up to $1 million in rewards for evidence of voter fraud, says Democrats have brought this post-election fiasco on themselves.
''They’re the ones that counted votes without letting Republicans watch, they’re the ones who put poster board on windows so you couldn’t see in,'' Patrick said Thursday during an appearance on Newsmax TV’s ''The Chris Salcedo Show.''
''They created this suspicion. We need a recount, even if it doesn’t flip the election, and I think it could, but even if it doesn’t, we need to know what the real vote was. We need to find where those fraudulent votes came from.''
Patrick also shot back at Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman for joking about the reward.
If the Democrats have nothing to hide then don’t make a joke about this like Mr. Fetterman,'' Patrick said.
''This is serious. We need to know who won. We need to know what the count was.''
Fetterman tweeted Tuesday night he’d like the reward money in the form of a Sheetz gift card.
''I’d like to collect your handsome reward for reporting voter fraud. I got a dude in Forty Fort, PA who tried to have his dead mom vote for Trump,'' Fetterman tweeted.
''I’d like mine in Sheetz gift cards pls. ps. The Cowboys blow.''
