Democrat Joe Biden said he hopes to avoid a "brawl" with President Donald Trump during their upcoming presidential debates.
According to NBC News, Biden addressed his preparations for the three debates as the two men campaign ahead of the Nov. 3 election.
"I'm looking forward to getting on the debate stage with Trump and holding him accountable. I think I know how to handle bullies — we'll find out," Biden said.
"I hope I don't get baited into getting into a brawl with this guy. It's going to be hard because I predict he's going to be shouting."
Biden chose not to get into his debate strategy. He will face off with Trump on Sept. 29, Oct. 15, and Oct. 22.
The Trump campaign pushed to have another debate added to the schedule, but the Commission on Presidential Debates rejected the request.
