A tweet New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio posted Friday vowing to fight Republicans on stripping funds for Planned Parenthood sparked much Twitter chatter — but probably not what the Democrat expected.

And at least one tweet extended the discussion to sanctuary cities. De Blasio declared that New York would remain a sanctuary city last month.
