Darth Vader's got nothing on President Donald Trump, according to "Star Wars" actor Mark Hamill.

In a podcast hosted by The Washington Post, Hamill — who plays Luke Skywalker in the venerated film series — said unlike Trump or former vice president Dick Cheney, who also was compared with the iconic villain during the Iraq War, Darth Vader was eventually sorry about his evil deeds.

"Listen, I really get upset then when people compare [Trump] or even Dick Cheney to Darth Vader because Darth Vader repented," Hamill said. "He saw the error of his ways. I don't see either one of them doing that."

The comment comes at the 58:11-minute mark.

"It's a preposterous presidency," he said.

Hamill frequently attacks President Trump and his administration on Twitter, including over the special counsel investigation into Russia's election interference, as well as policy issues such as immigration reform.

Last month, the actor, who played Luke Skywalker in the series, posted a mock ad for "Trump tear gas" in the wake of illegal immigrants from a caravan trying to break through a border barrier were tear-gassed by Customs and Border Protection agents.
