Worried conservatives have a simple message for the GOP: Don't get caught up in the noise and debate of how to dismantle Obamacare, just do it. Now.
Conservatives, and, by extension, some 60 million Americans who voted for and elected Donald Trump, are getting fed up by the minutiae and fear that the more Republicans talk about how to blow up the failing Affordable Care Act, the result will be failing to do anything at all.
"We've had almost seven years to come up with an alternative and the fact that we don't [have a bill moving] is unacceptable," Jason Pye, spokesman for the advocacy group Freedom Works, told the Washington Examiner.
Current and former chairs of the House Freedom Caucus Mark Meadows and Jim Jordan wrote an op-ed for The Hill detailing the top 10 commandments for Republicans on behalf of Americans. No 1?
"Repeal Obamacare in its entirety and replace it with a market-based solution that drives down costs and allows consumer choice. And don’t take three years to do it," Jordan/Meadows wrote.
