Fifty-five percent of “very conservative” voters who are not casting ballots in the Georgia runoffs say the process is rigged, according to a SurveyUSA-WXIA poll.
The runoffs are Tuesday. Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., is facing Democrat Jon Ossoff in one election. The other runoff has Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., competing with Raphael Warnock.
Here are how the results break down:
- 14% of the very conservative voters not voting say they don’t have the time.
- 12% don’t believe their vote matters.
- 7% say they are not casting their ballots because they’re intentionally boycotting the runoffs.
- 35% of liberals not voting say their vote doesn’t matter.
- 22% don’t like the candidates.
- 0% claimed the process was rigged.
The poll, conducted Dec. 16-20, surveyed 800 voting-aged Georgia residents.
