A new report sheds light on who may have leaked debate questions to Hillary Clinton's campaign, with signs pointing to a CNN producer as the potential culprit.

The Daily Caller spoke with the two women from Flint, Mich. whose questions were leaked, via Democratic National Committee official Donna Brazile, to Clinton's team. Brazile was a CNN contributor at the time of the March 6 Democratic primary debate. Over the summer, she was named acting chairwoman of the DNC.

The two women — Mikki Ward and LeeAnne Walters — both told The Daily Caller they supplied their debate questions to CNN producer Danelle Garcia.

A hacked email released by WikiLeaks showed that Brazile tipped off the Clinton campaign about the questions.

CNN claims Brazile got word of the questions ahead of time during a charity event. But the two women told The Daily Caller they did not attend that event, which occurred one day before the debate.

Another woman, Denise Ghattas, who asked a question at that debate told The Daily Caller she submitted three questions to Garcia and one was selected. But Garcia, Ghattas claims, supplied a new form of the question to ask. When Ghattas presented it at the debate, she told the website Clinton seemed more ready than normal for the question.

CNN parted ways with Brazile this week over the controversy.
