Former President Barak Obama is set to start campaigning for Democrats on Saturday in California, Roll Call is reporting.

Obama will campaign for California Democrats in House races, including Josh Harder, TJ Cox, Katie Hill, Gil Cisneros, Katie Porter, Harley Rouda, and Mike Levin.

Currently all seven seats are held by Republicans, but all the districts went for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Rep. Ben Ray Lujan welcomed Obama's return to the campaign trail.

"Democrats need all hands on deck to take back the House, and we could not be more honored to have President Barack Obama's inspirational voice and unifying message on the campaign trail, with his first stop in Southern California," he said.

CNBC had reported in June that Obama would be making campaign appearances in advance of the midterms. But at the time it was not decided which races he would get involved in.
