The man who rules the kingdom of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and dozens of other beloved cartoon icons is eying a possible run for the White House, The Hollywood Reporter says.
Sources tell the trade magazine Disney CEO Bob Iger has informed friends he's "considering their nudges that he make a run for president in 2020 as a Democrat."
He has even "consulted with former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg about making the leap from the board room to high office," the sources say.
Last June, Iger even hinted he may enter politics, telling told The Hollywood Reporter at the time that "a lot of people — a lot — have urged me to seek political office."
If Iger, 66, throws his hat in the ring, he will likely receive major support from the Hollywood community which has mostly shunned Trump.
