Former President Barack Obama has his old Twitter handle back, and he used the platform to say he'll be "back to work" after a brief vacation with his family.
The official @POTUS account was transferred to President Donald Trump at 12:01 p.m. Friday after he was sworn in as the nation's 45th president. Trump has yet to tweet from it, and it's unclear whether he will.
For now, Obama is using the platform to tease what's up next for him.
Obama then retweeted a tweet from The Obama Foundation, a nonprofit that is tasked with, among other duties, handling the plans for and construction of Obama's presidential center.
In a video on the foundation's website, Obama said, "The center will be based on the south side of Chicago, but it will have projects all over the city, the country, and the world.
"More than a library or a museum, it will be a living, working center for citizenship."
Obama's Twitter handle had more than 81 million followers as of early Friday evening.
