GOP strategist Ana Navarro ripped Republican Rep. Steve King as a "pathetic little racist" for his inflammatory "somebody else's baby" tweet that praised an anti-immigrant Dutch politician.
Navarro's harsh rebuke came during a heated discussion on CNN Monday about King's defense of Dutch prime minister candidate Geert Wilders, promping a tweet that declared: "We can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies."
The CNN exchange was posted by Mediaite.
"Steve King is being the pathetic little racist that he always is," Navarro said of the post. "This man has been in Congress now for seven terms, 14 years. This is his only call to fame."
When South Carolina Lt. Gov. André Bauer tried to temper the criticism, saying "everybody is entitled to their opinions" and urging a conversation "without immediately jumping and calling everybody a racist," Navarro doubled down.
"He's compared Mexicans to dogs, he has said that Hispanic immigrant youth come in with calves the size of cantaloupes because they're smuggling drugs," she railed, adding: "It's not a one-off thing."
Navarro wasn't the only one revolted by King's stance.
