Economist: US Trade Reform Needs to Be 'More Systemic'

"America First" tariffs on solar panels is a "first shot across the bow to China" — but the United States needs "something systemic" to deal with its trade deficit, economist Peter Morici told Newsmax TV.

Chipping off "industry after industry is rather like a farmer chasing a mice infestation with a hammer," Morici told Wednesday's "Newsmax Now."
