The fecklessness of the Biden administration has put Americans in more danger than at any time since World War II. Indeed, we have to go back to World War II to see a comparable period of military conflict.

A major fact of life is that weakness and appeasement breed aggression.

Strength and resolve are crucial to any global power's survival.

The real potential for dire consequences is what deters aggression.

Global tyrants don’t look for "context" when they see the supposed leader of the free world voluntarily gutting their military, tanking their economy, and begging terrorist regimes not to harm Americans.

When the Biden administration leaves behind $83 billion in military equipment forcing its army to flee Afghanistan, that tells ruthless despots and bloodthirsty rulers that America is indeed "back."

Translation? America is back to the Obama era of hollow warnings and a foreign policy frozen by indecisive rule.

How far are we really from White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki having to go out there and tell us that the invasion of Ukraine was the result of a "spontaneous" protest against the video of an independent film maker?

Under the Obama administration, the rest of the world had serious doubts about whether America was in a position to defend democracy and prevent aggression against weaker countries.

The Biden administration has removed all doubt; it's clear that under Team Biden, anything goes.

And all the nonsensical puffery about the United States intervening militarily on the side of Ukraine serves only to delay a much-needed reckoning about why the Biden administration let Russia invade Ukraine. This humanitarian disaster was entirely preventable, but President Biden gave the "green light" for an invasion by Putin before it ever happened.

"I think what you're gonna see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades. And it depends on what it does. It's one thing if it's a minor incursion and we end up having to fight about what to do and not do, etc." said President Biden. If by "held accountable" Biden meant that gasoline in the U.S. would reach $10 a gallon he may just be right.

The current occupant of the White House, and his team, are learning the hard way (fast!) that habitual almost insouciant spin of any issue, no matter how grave of consequence, only takes you so far.

High level multi-lateral negotiations between Ukraine and Russia should have taken place months ago — long before Putin's invasion began.

The administration must be held accountable for its "talk tough and do nothing" policy regarding protecting American interests — and our allies — globally.

Confusing doubletalk by American diplomats and piecemeal sanctions designed to garner favorable press for domestic consumption will return Ukraine to its people.

America and its allies should have made clear beforehand to Vladimir Putin that an invasion would cause historically severe repercussions on the Russian economy, as well as on its reputation globally.

When the Biden administration left thousands of Americans and allies behind at the "mercy" of the Taliban in Afghanistan, it announced, if not declared,  to the rest of the world that when it comes to protecting American interests abroad, it's not willing to do much more than issue sternly worded press releases.

While avid MSNBC viewers may consider images of desperate Afghan interpreters clinging to airplanes as signs of America being respected again, how do you think dictators like Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jung Un evaluate such images?

We are now faced with Taiwanese residents panicking over what they fear is an imminent invasion by China. The likelihood of this taking place is not nearly as significant as the fact that our position of strength in the world has deteriorated so precipitously that geopolitical experts are publicly expressing concern over China invading Taiwan during the next few months.

No one would seriously suggest that an invasion of Taiwan was ever at hand during the Trump administration.

If the Biden administration’s response to the invasion of Ukraine is essentially asking Putin to “please stop, pretty please” and to import more oil from the murderous regimes of Venezuela and Iran, what's going to happen to our national security and global stability if North Korea attacks South Korea again, or if Turkey invades Cyprus again?

In order to start making America safe again, the White House needs to come to two urgent realizations forthwith. First, our leadership in D.C. must accept that placating the enviro-wackos has only made Americans poorer and foreign dictators wealthier.

The Keystone XL Pipeline must be reopened immediately.

Second and more importantly, this administration must understand that armies serve to defend their countries and fight necessary wars. Armies should never be engrossed in culture wars.

We must rebuild our military with a focus on combat-readiness and meritocracy.
