Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid scolded MSNBC host Chuck Todd and his journalistic peers on Thursday for giving equal weight to competing arguments over who’s to blame for congressional gridlock.
Reid argued the facts objectively support Democrats,

"You won’t call things the way they actually exist," Reid told Todd on MSNBC’s "The Rundown" in a discussing the Senate’s paralysis and a standoff over GOP amendments to bills. "What has happened here is the Republicans have stopped everything from happening."
"It feels like a tit-for-tat game," Todd told Reid. "You don’t believe there’s any tit-for-tat going on here?"
"One of the problems the press has in modern-day journalism is everything you do is a tit-for-tat," Reid replied. "You can give me the tit-for-tat all you want, but the fact is we want to legislate."
Minority Leader Mitch McConnell recently counted a grand total of eight GOP amendments allowed by Reid to all Senate bills since last July. "This is not the way to run the Senate," McConnell said,
