Fox's Gutfeld to Christie: Obesity Bigger Killer than Pot

Fox News Channel's Greg Gutfeld took aim at New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for vowing he would never allow marijuana to be legalized in his state as long as he is governor.

"You know what is deadlier than pot, Gov. Christie, what kills 300,000 people every year? Obesity," Gutfeld said on Thursday's episode of "The Five."

There have been no recorded deaths from pot use, Gutfeld said, and, "more people die from the war on drugs than from drugs themselves."

Christie's arguments against marijuana legalization included a fear that the government would be telling children that the drug is OK for them to use. Gutfeld said that no one follows such logic in other areas, such as guns.

Gutfeld said if Christie wants to protect the people of New Jersey, "you should then ban Twinkies, you should ban steaks, and you should ban Cool Whip, and all the stuff that makes you fat."
