"When I was three years old they started putting me on a sheep and I never looked back," Mauney told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

The 27-year-old North Carolina native said he climbed aboard his first bull at the age of 13.
"My mother didn't like the bull riding, but she got used to it," said Mauney, who'll be riding at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Is he ever frightened?
"The fear is really not there," Mauney insisted.
