The arrest of pop star Justin Beiber on charges of drunken driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license is both "a lawyer's dream and a lawyer's nightmare," legal analyst Kendall Coffey says.
"On one hand, you've got a famous celebrity who could definitely pay the defense fees … but on the other hand, he kind of did just about everything wrong," Coffey told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

The teen heartthrob was arrested after police spotted him drag racing early Thursday morning in Miami Beach.
"What the f--- did I do? Why did you stop me?" Bieber asked when he was pulled over, according to a police report.
He was booked after failing a sobriety test and later released on a $2,500 bond.
"If all that's true, a judge is going to really struggle with this one," said Coffey, a founding member of Coffey Burlington in Miami.
"On the one hand, you don't want to punish him worse than some crazy kid from a local junior college, on the other hand you don't want the public to think, yeah, the rich people can drive like crazy and get away with it."
