Reporter: Islamic State Targeting Journalists

By    |   Tuesday, 25 November 2014 10:35 AM EST

The Islamic State (ISIS) is targeting journalists in the war zone as much as soldiers, investigative reporter Tim Malloy told "America’s Forum" on Tuesday on Newsmax TV.

"It is a shoot-the-messenger thing, and it's something, it's evolved. It used to be that journalists were of value to these people who are conduits of your information," Malloy said.

"It's just so raw and hateful right now that we are not trusted, and particularly ISIS . . . ISIS has taken it to such an incredible extreme, as you all know, that we are now targets as much as the military, maybe even more so."
