More women respect President Donald Trump for nominating judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court before the election, political strategist Dick Morris told Newsmax TV.
"Barrett is really helping Trump. I think it's obvious that he made a very good appointment. You know, the appointment of the judge before the election was a negative in many voters' minds ... But now ... I think we're coming away with a lot of respect for President Trump's decision-making process and his decision, particularly among women," Morris told Thursday's "Greg Kelly Reports."
Former Deputy National Security Adviser KT McFarland also weighed in on how great Barrett is of a pick.
"She's a role model for a whole generation of women. She's got a happy marriage. She's got children, well-balanced children. She's got a racially-mixed family, and yet she's had an incredibly successful career, with great integrity and principles. And she's got a steep faith," McFarland said.
