Steve Beaman: Keystone Pipeline a Shot in Arm for Economy

Tuesday, 18 November 2014 04:17 PM EST

Although Canadian oil flowing across the United States through a Keystone XL pipeline would be exported, it would grow U.S. refinery capacity, and pipeline construction will create thousands of needed jobs, economist Steve Beaman, chairman of the Society to Advance Financial Education, told "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner on Newsmax TV Tuesday.

Beaman also discussed a flurry of lawsuits against employers that offer 401(k) retirement plans, and how to reallocate asset portfolios in the event that the Federal Reserve raises interest rates in 2015.
