A mixture of positives and the public's rejection of scandal are responsible for President Donald Trump's rising approval ratings, political analyst Scott Rasmussen tells Newsmax TV.
"It's obviously clear the president has been getting a bounce in the opinion polls," Rasmussen, publisher of ScottRasmussen.com and editor at large at Ballotpedia, tells host John Bachman on Tuesday's "Newsmax Now."
"I'm not 100 percent sure it's because of North Korea, it may be because the smear campaigns, the scandal allegations, have switched from being about Russian collusion to about an affair with Stormy Daniels.
"To be blunt, people aren't shocked. They didn't elect Donald Trump believing he was a choir boy. It may be an indication that things are getting better, the economy is getting better."
