Galen Institute's Turner: ACA Is Obama's Biggest Failure

Monday, 14 April 2014 06:17 PM EDT

Obamacare, Benghazi, Fast and Furious -- no matter the issue, President Barack Obama's appointees never get fired, and the administration never takes responsibility for things that go wrong, says former Rep. Pete Hoekstra.

"It's all about spin. They will never admit a mistake," Hoekstra told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

Story continues below video.

Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute, says the president's most egregious error is Obamacare -- and that the program should have been delayed, with as many technical problems as the website had.

"It's really hard for me to see that that wouldn't have been better for them, to have delayed the rollout and not have gone through the fiasco of the website. They would have been better to delay it for two years," she said.

"All of the payment information, all of the data that's going to the health insurance companies, it's still a gigantic mess, but that's being hidden from the consumer. They will have a lot of work to do, but yes, they would have been better off to have delayed it rather than expose the failure that it really is."
