During World War II, Heinrich Himmler, the feared Reichsführer of Nazi Germany’s SS, became one of the evil architects of the Holocaust, setting up and operating concentration camps throughout Europe. But he also had a personal physician with a conscience, Dr. Felix Kersten, who only agreed to take on Himmler because he feared for his own safety.

Kersten used his medical healing powers to alleviate Himmler’s severe stomach pains with his skills and gained his trust. And he used this bond to convince Himmler to lie to Adolf Hitler to obtain the pardons and releases of camp prisoners, activists, gays, and others the Third Reich considered undesirables. And, as the war wound down, Kersten arranged a sit-down between Himmler and the World Jewish Congress, resulting in Himmler sparing the lives of 60,000 Jews. As well, Kersten provided vital secrets to the OSS, the predecessor of the CIA.

Through rare archival footage and interviews, Newsmax reveals the fascinating story behind Kersten’s risky humanitarian deeds. It’s an explosive hour of television you will not want to miss.

“Satan’s Doctor” adds to the diverse programming featured on Newsmax TV, now carried in more than 40 million U.S. satellite and cable homes.
