Economist Morici: Obama 'Selling Out' US to China

President Barack Obama's secret pact with China to curb the heat-trapping gases blamed for climate change is an "absurd" agreement that will harm the United States, says economist Peter Morici, a professor at the University of Maryland.

"This is an absurd agreement. It's just one more example of Barack Obama selling out the United States," Morici said Wednesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"It's the very left part of the Democratic Party who's decided that America has created all the problems of the world and it now must go about making amends.

"So, what it's going to do is strengthen the Chinese military-industrial complex."
