Clarence McKee: Obama Is the First Hispanic President

By    |   Tuesday, 05 August 2014 01:13 PM EDT

President Barack Obama is the first black president, but with his immigration policies he could be called the first Hispanic president, says Newsmax columnist Clarence McKee.

"He is to Hispanics, in all respects, in Central and South America what Lyndon Johnson was to black folks," McKee told J.D. Hayworth on "America's Forum" on Newsmax TV Tuesday.

According to the founder and president of McKee Communications, Inc., leaders from both the United States Civil Rights Commission and the Greater Urban League have "said amnesty would be devastating to black Americans."

"These are very low-skilled workers who are being impacted in the United States so [Obama's] policies, especially if he's talking about coming back before Labor Day and doing an executive order freeing up 5 million more, it's devastating," he explained.

McKee said that he's shocked "that the black caucus, NAACP are just going along quietly, when it's their constituents who are going to be devastated."

He also predicts that if the Hispanic population continues to grow, that black candidates will "be defeated by Hispanic candidates and the black caucus will diminish and Hispanic caucus will double."
