Rep. Mike Johnson to Newsmax TV: Trial Might End Friday

Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La., a member of the White House defense team, said the Senate impeachment trial of President Donald Trump could wrap up as soon as Friday — and there might even be some Democrats who will ultimately vote to acquit.

In an interview Thursday on Newsmax TV's "Greg Kelly Reports," Johnson predicted there will also be enough votes to prevent more witnesses from being called, which would extend the trial.
