Obamacare is never going to be fully repealed because "parts of it are going to have to stay around because that's what the public wants," political commentator Michael Reagan told Newsmax TV on Friday.
"Many of the Republicans and many people across this country, in fact, believe that a 26-year-old living at home should be able to be insured," the eldest son of former President Ronald Reagan told Miranda Khan on "America Talks Live" in an interview. "That was an Obamacare issue.
"The fact that people who already have some problems with themselves health-wise are not going to lose their healthcare, that's part of Obamacare.
"So, you're never going to get rid of it in total because parts of it are going to have to stay around because that's what the public wants," he said. "That's what many Republicans and Democrats, in fact, want."
