Former FEMA Director Michael Brown on Friday graded President Donald Trump an "A-plus" on his zero tolerance policy on illegal immigration, telling Newsmax TV that "he has done exactly what those people who voted for Donald Trump expected for him to do."
"Enforce the rule of law, close the border, set up some sort of immigration system where we know who's coming, when they're coming, when they're supposed to leave, so that we can track them," Brown told "America Talks Live."
"If we don't do that, we no longer become a sovereign nation."

Brown, 63, who headed the agency from 2003 to 2005, talked with Newsmax TV hosts Rob Astorino, Dr. Nan Hayworth and Carrie Sheffield.
He also argued that he would give the Trump administration the same grade for their overall handling of the border crisis because the media will never be satisfied with the White House's actions.
"Regardless of how good the PR is in terms of managing this particular this catastrophe, the mainstream media is going to continue to want to post fake photographs, tell them about photographs from 2014 and try to blame them on Trump," Brown said.
"No matter what the president's doing, in terms of PR, keep doing what you're doing, in terms of enforcing the law, because that's what we expected him to do."
