President Barack Obama may try to expand his amnesty program for illegal immigrants even further, says Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies and columnist for National Review.
"It's entirely possible. A lot of that will depend whether he gets away with this," Krikorian said Friday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.

"The scheme that he released … some of it is within his power to do, even if it is bad policy … The big piece is the amnesty. Congress can stop that."
Krikorian called Obama's speech announcing his use of executive power "the usual string of clichés."
"What people need to understand is what he announced is not simply looking the other way for illegal immigrants. He actually put it that way. He said, 'we're just saying to you, we're not going to deport you,'" Krikorian said.
"That's actually false. What the president has proposed is 4 million to 5 million illegal immigrants being given work permits, driver's licenses and Social Security numbers.
"In other words, they're actually getting something rather than just being ignored. That is amnesty. They are now legal and working in the U.S. It'll supposedly be temporary, but you need to put quotes around temporary."
