Maria Bartiromo Leaving CNBC, May Be Headed to Fox

Business reporter Maria Bartiromo is leaving CNBC on Nov. 24, and may be moving to Fox Business Network.

"After 20 years of groundbreaking work at CNBC, Maria Bartiromo will be leaving the company as her contract expires on November 24th," CNBC spokesman Brian Steel said in an email to news outlets. "Her contributions to CNBC are too numerous to list, but we thank her for all of her hard work over the years and wish her the best."

Steel's statement did not say where Bartiromo is going, but the Drudge Report  said she was jumping to rival Fox Business Network.

Bartiromo will anchor a daily market-hours program on Fox Business and will also have a role on Fox News Channel, Drudge reported.
