Republicans are stuck in a tough situation if they try to "ram" Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh's nomination through the Senate this week, according to former federal prosecutor Larry Klayman on Newsmax TV.
"Republicans are in the deep you know what right now," Klayman told Monday's "America Talks Live," calling the latest Democrat rejection of Judge Kavanaugh a "Hail Mary." "They're trying to figure out what to do."

Amid recent sexual misconduct allegations from Kavanaugh's teen years, pushing the Senate confirmation through this week will cost Republicans both the House and Senate in November's midterm elections, Klayman predicted Monday.
"This may be President Trump's last chance to have a Supreme Court choice confirmed," Klayman added.
Also, conversely, allowing 11th-hour allegations to derail the Supreme Court confirmation will give license to the Democrats' obstructionist agenda on any and every issue going forward, Klayman added.
"We live in an environment today it's like the Salem Witch Trials," Klayman, the Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch founder, said.
". . . It's not the Salem Witch Trial just on #MeToo. It's the Salem Witch Trials on every issue."
Klayman defended Kavanaugh's confirmation, but acknowledged the accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, deserves a chance to testify about her allegations, which Judge Kavanaugh denies.
Regardless of who is telling the truth, though, Klayman says, confirming Kavanaugh will cost Republicans midterm votes of women and will "offend" those motivated by the #MeToo movement.
"The Democrats might like Kavanaugh to be confirmed," Klayman told Newsmax TV hosts John Cardillo and Dr. Gina Loudon. "It gives them a huge issue in the midterm elections with a lot of women throughout this country."
