A Telemundo cameraman caught staging a shot during a Donald Trump protest is an eye-opener for even worse bias in Spanish-language media, Ken Oliver-Mendez, director of MRC Latino, tells
Newsmax TV.
Oliver-Mendez, appearing Thursday on "Newsmax Prime," called the incident a "fresh wound … to the credibility of Spanish-language media," the leaders of which are Univision and Telemundo.

"You have a constant bias, which we've documented at MRC Latino, of really an anti-law enforcement bias and pro-amnesty bias throughout the years," he said. "It's only gotten worse in the last year."
Video shot by the website Rebel Pundit shows a cameraman with a Telemundo shirt helping a protester adjust a Mexican flag for his shot.
That is unacceptable, Oliver-Mendez said, noting that journalists are supposed to cover news, not collude in any way with people they are covering.
"We saw collusion there between the protester and the cameraman," he said.
Telemundo said in a statement to Fox News Channel's "Hannity" aired Wednesday that the cameraman was a temporary hire and that the footage was not used for broadcast.
