Washington Times' Hurt: Sebelius a Hollywood-Style 'Monster'

Wednesday, 06 November 2013 06:19 PM EST

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who testified about the botched Affordable Care Act website on Wednesday, is a monster straight out of a horror movie, says Charles Hurt, a columnist for The Washington Times.

"If you were to create a monster in Hollywood that was going to get in, they were going to take your lifesaving healthcare, they were going to slaughter your doctors, drive them out of business, and then take all of your personal information and put it in the hands of criminals, this would be the villain and she would look just like Kathleen Sebelius, she would talk just like Kathleen Sebelius," Hurt told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

Story continues below video.

Hurt is particularly incredulous at the possibility that people who work on the website, helping those trying to sign up, may not have been properly vetted.

"She's saying everything in a very matter-of-fact way as if it's like totally normal that she's just created a system where criminals are going to have all of your personal information. It's insane!" Hurt said.
