Ex-CIA Agent: House Report on Benghazi Misses Mark

The House report on the Benghazi attack that exonerates the White House "obviously fell short," says former CIA agent Josh Katz, a managing partner at the Enright Group.

"It fell short strategically. It really focused on the tactical situation in Benghazi that night, which I really wish it would have steered away from," Katz on Wednesday told Rick Ungar, guest host of "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"It would have given us a broader picture of really what happened as the information flow from CIA to the White House to Department of Defense, State Department, and really brought that piece together.

"Hopefully, we'll see something out of the Benghazi commission, although at this point I'm a little skeptical there, too."

Four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were killed in the attack.
