Donald Trump is seeing an upward trend in polling thanks to Republicans who have been silent throughout the presidential campaign, but are finally seeing the light, veteran pollster John Zogby, a senior partner at John Zogby Strategies, tells Newsmax TV.
"The trend line is with Trump and what we know at least up to this point is that it's Republicans coming home," Zogby said Friday to J.D. Hayworth on "America Talks Live."
"Republicans, of course, who are cool towards Donald Trump now see the reality that there could be a President Clinton [and] are coming home to the Republican nominee."

Meanwhile, as GOP latecomers begin to show their support for Trump, Hillary Clinton faces some problems in getting out the vote, according to Zogby, a Newsmax contributor and director at the Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship.
"The problem that Clinton faces is that a key element of her base — African Americans — are not coming home just yet," Zogby said.
"[In] my history of doing polls, when I see a large undecided [group] among African Americans at least this late in the game, they're probably not going to vote."
