Noted attorney and legal analyst Kendall Coffey believes a jury's vindication of concert promoter AEG Live — sued for wrongful death for hiring Dr. Conrad Murray to treat pop legend Michael Jackson — was proper.
"At the end of it you think the jury had to really think that Jackson wanted Murray," Coffey told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"Even though the … company may have hired him and paid for him as part of the deal, Jackson [was] really calling the shots."
Jackson's mom, Katherine Jackson, and his three kids — Prince, Paris, and Blanket Jackson — sued AEG in 2010, claiming it was negligent in hiring Murray.
Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of the self-proclaimed King of Pop who died of a prescription drug overdose in 2009.
"It seems apparent that the jury thought that, of course, Conrad Murray, who was convicted in the death of Michael Jackson, was found to be the most responsible," Coffey said.
"The late great Michael Jackson had a responsibility that couldn't be pushed away and pushed on this other company."
