Israel has been bombarded with more than 300 rockets from the Gaza Strip and Israeli blogger and mother Paula Stern says the middle-eastern country is relying on
Israel's defense system known as the Iron Dome for protection.
"It's a defense system that is now finally covering all of Israel, and it's been amazingly affective in knocking down 90 percent of the rockets it's aiming for," Stern told Ed Berliner Thursday on "MidPoint" on
Newsmax TV.

"It's a very advanced system," she added. "It's amazing and we're sort of relying on that for defense right now."
"There are 5 million people under rocket fire right now in Israel," Stern said
"It is literally almost — I won't say that every minute they're firing, but there are very few hours that go by where there isn't at least one attack and usually one attack includes a whole barrage," she explained.
"Tel Aviv, which is one of the largest cities in Israel, was hit by 15 rockets today as of a couple of hours ago," the A Soldier's Mother blogger said. "Jerusalem, as I said, was hit by five."
Stern said that she's concerned right now that her "oldest son will be called into the army" right now because he was called to fight in the last two "Gaza operations."
In spite of all the attacks, the Israeli blogger said there have been some "amazing miracles."
"A rocket landed in a nursery school and the kids had just left there, so they were OK," she said. "That happened today."
"Yesterday, a missile crashed into the room of a three year old and five year old and the family had just said that they had enough, and they went on vacation further south, so they were fine," Stern added.
