Ex-Rep. Flanagan: Rauner Will Win Illinois Gubernatorial Contest

Republican Bruce Rauner will "handily" win the Illinois governor’s race, predicted the state’s former congressman, Michael Patrick Flanagan, during an appearance Tuesday on Newsmax TV's "America’s Forum."

"Illinois is not an economy that can handle that socialist state that (Democrat Gov. Pat Quinn) would like to build," Flanagan said. "He's tried for all the time he's been in there and all the time he's been in politics and it hasn't worked. It's not working now and Bruce Rauner has touched a nerve and will be elected handily."
