Howie Carr: It's 'Extortion' for Nonprofits to Get BOA Funds

The Justice Department's plan to give nonprofit organizations some of a $17 billion settlement with the Bank of America amounts to "extortion," radio talk show host Howie Carr told Newsmax TV's "America's Forum" on Tuesday.

He was joined by Judicial Watch spokeswoman Irene Garcia, who explained that the leadership in many of these organizations is the same as with the scandal-ridden group ACORN, a nonprofit that helped contribute to the 2008 mortgage crisis, which the settlement was designed to address.
