The stock market is experiencing a small correction and has not even taken enough of a dip to characterize it as a full correction, Florida Southern College Professor of Finance and Economics James Farrell said Tuesday on
Newsmax TV's “America’s Forum.”
Fears of Ebola spreading may be impacting the market a bit, but not substantially, Farrell added.
“The Ebola fears are probably weighing slightly on the market, but the bigger fears are surrounding what the Federal Reserve might do as they continue to taper their bond buying and the potential to increase interest rates over the next year or two, as well as what continues to go on over in Europe,” he said.
