Republicans will make a "very serious mistake" if they compromise with Senate Democrats, and vote with President Joe Biden's agenda, former presidential adviser Dick Morris tells Newsmax TV.
"The phrase 'half a loaf is better than none' in this case isn't true, because if you settle for half a loaf, you'll never get the whole loaf," Morris told Tuesday's "Stinchfield."
Republicans must oppose whatever Biden is doing, he told host Grant Stinchfield, "Oppose and expose, and show how his policies are basically the radical left agenda dressed up in disguise."
If Republicans give Democrats a veneer of bipartisanship so those liberal policies do not stand out, it will hurt the Republicans in their effort to take control of Congress in two years, Morris said.
It is key now for Republicans to deny Biden any GOP votes "so that he has to go shopping on the left wing of his party," he said. "In return, they're gonna make him move so far with the left, he won't be able to recognize himself."
