A report Susan Rice, President Barack Obama's national security adviser, requested the names of U.S. citizens from raw intelligence reports connected to President Donald Trump's transition team, is a bombshell example of lawbreaking by the left, former Navy SEAL Carl Higbie told Newsmax TV.
"This is huge," Higbie told host Miranda Khan on Monday's "America Talks Live." "The fact is that the left has been denying they saw . . . any type of illegal intelligence or unprecedented intelligence.
"Susan Rice, without a warrant, can't release this information without a trial or any type of litigation or hearings. The fact that she sought it is a purely partisan move.
"I think we've seen that time and time again, and it's like every single time Donald Trump makes an accusation, he's attacked for his credibility, he's attacked for everything, and then it turns out, he's right. So, here we go again."

Bloomberg reported Monday a National Security Council review of the government's policy on "unmasking" Americans accidently caught up in "incidental" surveillance showed the request Rice made.
Last month, Trump claimed Obama had wiretapped his phones at Trump Tower in New York City.
Higbie, author of "Enemies, Foreign and Domestic: A SEAL's Story," published by Post Hill Press, added Rice should be investigated and tried if it is warranted.
"This whole thing right now is just absolutely insane," Higbie told Khan. ". . . Donald Trump is still being demonized and trying to be called illegitimate . . . it is fundamentally fact that this happened, that Susan Rice was the source of the leaks.
"Let's get this woman on some sort of hearing or trial."
